The bomber jacket is outerwear royalty. It appears everywhere from catwalks to high street boutiques to its natural habitat of small army surplus stores. With such a broad following, it’s no surprise then that today’s bombers come in all sorts varieties, and are styled in all manner of ways.

At JACK & JONES VINTAGE CLOTHING we’re both jeanswear designers and enthusiasts. We thought we’d cut through the noise and give you two simple and authentic ways to style your bomber.

Look #1: Unlike the original MA-1’s fuller shape, our latest bomber comes in a sleeker, regular fit silhouette. Those slimmer proportions make it great for layering. That said, we can’t take full credit for the fact that it works so well with our hoodie. The bomber’s flat-lying collar is perfect for a sweat hood.

Look #2: We referenced the bomber’s military roots with a concealed army-inspired print in the collar. This look’s beanie, cargo pants and chukka boots, in classic army tones, also give a firm nod to that heritage. But the denim shirt adds a ‘civvies’ twist. And its band collar looks great paired with the bomber’s.

The model is wearing our contemporary cotton bomber, with contrast details and metal trim. It’s available in the two colours shown and features structured rib details. Take a closer look.
